Director of Development

As Director of Development for Corporate Realty Development, Brian is responsible for implementing new projects and managing the development process as well as establishing leadership and quality standards for internal operations, investment partnerships and third party services at Corporate Realty Development, LLC.

Brian has more than 8 years experience in real estate investment and development activities and has served as a development team member on commercial real estate projects in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, and Nevada. Prior to joining Corporate Realty, Brian held several positions within Bayer Properties including Development Coordinator and Project Planner where he handled all planning aspects for future projects including construction project budgets and pro forma, procuring and managing consultants, coordinating with government entities to secure project approvals and incentives, and worked to secure and close land, sitework, construction, and permanent financing. Brian also served as an Associate Developer in the retail division at Colonial Properties Trust (NYSE:CLP). While at Colonial his responsibilities included pursuing market leads for retail development, securing land for future development, preparing marketing materials for tenant presentation, preparing site layout to acheive maximum yield, and securing relocation sites on behalf of anchor tenants.

Brian is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Alabama and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He holds a BA degree in Geography, specializing in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of Alabama - Birmingham.
